Hello Pumpkin Twist Pop-up Card with Cozy Season Collection

Let me introduce the “Hello Pumpkin Pop-up Card” from Hero Arts' Cozy Season Collection, featuring a super cute cat  Kitty Squeezer Die Set with big, round eyes. This is the “Kitty Squeezer Die Set” featuring a cat that looks absolutely adorable as it cradles pumpkins , a symbol of autumn's joy.

 “Kitty Squeezer Die Set” is a figure you can have hold all sorts of things in its hands for fun. It’s also a great idea to slip a prepaid card inside and give it as a gift.

Hero Arts Cozy Season Collection のお目目がウルウルでめちゃかわいい猫ちゃんを使った、Hello Pumpkin Pop-up Cardをご紹介します。秋の喜びカボチャを抱えている姿がとてもかわいい猫ちゃん Kitty Squeezer Die Set です。猫ちゃんのダイ Kitty Squeezer Die Set は、手にいろいろ持たせて楽しむことができるダイです。プリペイドカードを挟んでプレゼントするのもいいですね。




Since I cut this card by joining the sides together without separating them, it has a back side as well.
On the back cover, I used the “Lovely Little Leaves” Die Set to create a “Hello Fall” design featuring autumn leaves.


こちらのカードはサイドを切り離さずつなげてカットしたので、裏側もあります。裏側は、Lovely Little Leaves Die Set を使った、紅葉した葉を持たせてHello Fall にしました。



And when you open this cute cat card, you'll find it's a diagonal twist pop-up card.
I’ve decorated this piece with layers of warm, autumnal leaves, cats colored using the “Hide and Peek Stamp and Cut” set, and other autumnal elements.

そしてこの猫ちゃんカードを開くと、斜めツイストポップアップカードになってます。
ポップアップには、Lovely Little Leaves Die Set を使った
秋の温かみのある葉っぱの重なりと、Hide and Peek Stamp and Cut を使って着色した猫たちと秋の要素をデコレーションしてます。









For the background, I sprayed Distress Spray Ink in Spiced Marmalade, then stamped the text from the Cozy Vibes Cling Stamp  using Versa Fine Clair Summer Time ink to create a warm-toned background.
I also added some leaf stamps.

背景は、Distress Spray ink Spiced Marmalade をスプレーした後、Cozy Vibes Cling Stamp のテキストスタンプをVersa Fine Clair  Sumer Time でスタンプして温かみのある背景を作りました。
そのほか、葉のスタンプも施してます。


Here's how to make a diagonal twist pop-up card.

斜めツイストポップアップカードの作り方をご紹介します。



Draw a circle with a radius of 2 cm and a diameter of 4 cm.

半径2cm　直径４センチの円を描きます。



Draw dotted lines at 30-degree and 90-degree angles from the centerline. These serve as
scoring lines.

中心線から３０度、９０度に点線を書きます。折り線になります。


Cut along the red line.
赤いラインをカットします。


The 90-degree fan-shaped areas on both sides serve as the gluing areas.
両サイド９０度の扇がのりしろになります。


When folded, it looks like this.

折りたたむとこのような形になります。



To create the panel for attaching elements, fold a 1-inch by 6-inch strip of cardstock into an accordion fold, with the center as the peak and the left and right sides as the valleys.
Unfold it, apply glue along the top and bottom edges (1.5 inches each), and stick the two pieces together.

要素を貼るパネルは、１インチ×６インチの帯状のカードストックを中心が山、左右が谷になるように蛇腹に折ります。
広げて上下1.5インチにのりをつけ貼り合わせます。



Attach the elements you created using the “Lovely Little Leaves Die Set ” Die Set and the “Hide and Peek Stamp and Cut  to the pop-up mechanism.

Lovely Little Leaves Die Set と Hide and Peek Stamp and Cut を使って作った要素を仕掛けに貼ります。

Apply glue to the 90-degree fan-shaped area and attach it to the center of the card base.

９０度の扇のエリアに糊をつけ、カードベースの中心に貼ります。





Using the Card Spinner 5mm, attach the black kitten chasing an acorn to the top-left corner of the card.

カードの左上に、ドングリを追いかける黒猫ちゃんをCard Spinner 5mmを使って貼ります。



I attached the sentiment “Leaves ＆ Puｍpkins Please ”I made using the “Hide and Peek Stamp and Cut ” set in the lower-left corner.

Hide and Peek Stamp and Cut で作ったセンチメント“Leaves ＆Puｍpkins Please”を左下に貼りました。








You can change your cat’s fur color to make it a black cat for Halloween, or put a hat on it for Christmas—there are plenty of ways to customize your cat to create your own unique character.

You can also have it hold a bouquet of flowers, a heartwarming card, a greeting card, candy, or a surprise—it would make a great gift.

Whether you’re making it or giving it as a gift, I think you’ll end up with an absolutely adorable creation.


猫ちゃんの毛の色を変えて、黒猫にしてHalloweenに使って楽しむのもいいですし、帽子をかぶせてChristmasなど、オリジナルの猫ちゃんにカスタマイズして楽しむことができます。

また、花束を持たせて心温まるカードやお祝いのカード、お菓子やサプライズなどギフトとしても使えそうですね。

作るのも贈るのも楽しい、最高にキュートな作品ができると思います。

Heroween Day 4 / Interactive eyeball Candies Card

I’ve started looking forward to checking out posts every day, wondering, “I wonder how other people are using the Heroween dies and stamps?”

Sometimes I make unexpected discoveries, like, “Oh, it’s fun to use them this way,” or “I didn’t know you could use them like that!”

Heroween Day 4 is  is packed with lots of sweet candy dies.

毎日ほかの方々は、どのようにHeroween のダイやスタンプ使ったのかしら？と投稿を見るのも楽しみになってきました。

あぁこんな風に使うと楽しいとか、こんな使い方もあるのね⁈ と思わぬ発見もあります。

Heroween Day 4は、甘いSweets のダイがたくさん入っています。





Using  Heroween Day 4, I created an interactive card featuring some slightly spooky eyeball candies that wriggle around.

私が作ったのはちょっと不気味な目玉のキャンディー達が、うごめくインタラクティブなカードです。




There are three moving eyeball candies—did you notice them?

目玉キャンディーが３か所で動いているのですが、気づいてもらえたでしょうか？







Step by step

1）First, cut out an eye-shaped template from white cardstock, then use a brayer to apply black ink. Color the inside of the eye with a pen in your favorite color.

まず、白いカードストックから目の形の型を切り取り、次にローラーを使って黒いインクで色を塗ります。目の中は、好きな色のペンで塗ります。




2）Let's build a mechanism that makes the moving candy .　Here's how to make a rivet with a pivoting strip.

メカニズムをつくります。ピボットさせるStripのついたリベットをこのようにつくります。




3）Place the candy to determine its position, mark the spot, and drill a 1-centimeter hole.
キャンディを置いてみて位置を決めて印をつけ、１cmの穴を開けます。




４）Turn the paper over and thread the rivet through it.　
紙を裏にして、リベットを通します。



5）Make two strips of paper to use for the pull tab.

プルタブに使う帯状の紙を２枚用意します。


6）Make a small hole in the base arch. Similarly, make a hole in the pull tab as well.

ベースのアーチに小さな穴を開けます。同様にプルタブの上にも穴を開けます。





7）Drill another hole vertically in the base. This hole is the length over which the pull tab moves up and down.
ベースには、垂直にもう一つ穴を開けます。これはプルタブが上下する長さです。


8）Thread the string through the two holes and tie it into a loop.

二つの穴にスレッドを通してリング状に結びます。



9）Tie the thread knot through the hole in the pull tab and secure it with double-sided tape. Make two slits in the pull tab, then insert the strip of the rivet from both sides.
Apply the adhesive so that it avoids the mechanism, and then stick another pull tab on top of it.

スレッドの結び目をプルタブの穴にさらに結び両面テープで留めます。
プルタブに切り込みを２か所作り、リベットの帯の部分を左右から差し込みます。
仕掛けを避けるようにのりをつけその上にもう一枚のプルタブを、貼り合わせます。



10）Attach the candy elements to the threads and rivets. Check that they move properly, then attach the other elements.

キャンディの要素をスレッドやリベットに貼ります。動きを確認してほかの要素も貼ります。




11）Attach the black ring band so that the pull tab moves vertically.

プルタブが垂直に動くように、黒いリングのバンドを取り付けます。



12）Make a slot for the pull tab, then attach the frame with the sides folded in a zigzag pattern.

プルタブを通す口を作り、サイドをジグザグに折ったフレームを貼ります。


13）Stamp “Trick or Treat” to finish.

Trick or Treat をスタンプして完成

Heroween Day3 / Pop-Up Spooky House Card

The “Halloween 13 Days of Crafty Treats  Box” is a sweet and spooky Advent box that lets you open one surprise each day leading up to Halloween and enjoy crafting. It’s fun to feel that excitement and anticipation, wondering, “I wonder what’s inside next?”


Halloween まで毎日ひとつづつ開けて、クラフトを楽しむことができる甘くて不気味なアドベントBox　Heroween Crafty Treats 13Days Box.　次はどんなものが入っているのかしら？と、わくわくドキドキするのも楽しいです。








Today, I’m sharing a card featuring a house where spooky yet cute ghosts appear, made using the Heroween Day 3 die set.

今日は、そのHeroween Day3 のダイを使った、不気味でかわいいGhostたちが現れる家のカードをシェアします。

I could see three ghosts, but when I pulled the tab, there were five!

見えているのは、3ゴーストだったのに、プルタブを引くと５ゴーストに！







Mechanism Step by step

1) Cut the patterned paper to the size shown in the photo to make the craft.

写真のようなサイズで、パターンペーパーをカットし、仕掛けを作ります。


2）Cut an arch out of the same patterned paper using the second die from the “Make A Wish Arch Labels” set, fold the bottom edge back 1 inch, apply glue to the designated area, and attach it there.

同じパターンペーパーを Make A Wish Arch Labels  の２番目のダイでアーチをカットし、下部を１インチ折り、仕掛けのglue部分にのりをつけ、そこに貼りつけます。





3）You can use the strip as is, but since I wanted to change the position and orientation of the ghost,

I cut it and reapplied it.

２本の帯の部分をそのまま使用しても構いませんがゴーストの位置や向きを変えたかったので
カットして貼り直しました。



4）Place the “House” piece, check the positions of the moon and the ghost, and then stick it in place.
House を置いてみて、月やゴーストの位置を確認して貼ります。




5）Cut the green patterned paper so that only the bottom portion is cut out using the largest “Make A Wish Arch Labels” arch die; for the top portion, use the Day 3 die to cut partway through.
Make two slits in the center, each 0.5 inches wide and 1 inch long.

緑のパターンペーパーを、一番大きい Make A Wish Arch Labels  のアーチ型ダイを使って、下部のみを切り抜くようにカットします。上部については、3日目のダイを使って、途中まで切り込みを入れます。

中央に、幅0.5インチ、長さ1インチのスリットを2つ作ります。





6）Attach it to the 1-inch section of the base arch, but leave the slit you made earlier unglue and let it remain raised.

ベースのアーチの１インチ部分に貼りつけますが、先ほどのスリットにはのりをつけずに浮かせておきます。



7）Prepare a strip of paper 0.5 inches wide, fold one end 0.5 inches inward, and attach it to the base; then attach the remaining portion to the back of the patterned paper with the slit.
0.5インチ幅の紙を用意し、先端を0.5インチ内側に折りベースに貼り、残りをスリットのパターンペーパーの裏側に貼りつけます。




8）Use the largest die from the Make A Wish Arch Labels set to die-cut the black cardstock base, then use a craft knife to cut a slot for the pull tab, and attach it to the base.

Make A Wish Arch Labels の一番大きな型でベースの黒のカードストックをダイカットし、プルタブの差し込み口をカッターでカットしてから、その上にこれを貼りつけます


　　


9）The ghosts' heads looked like they were cold, so I used the cat-ear die from Day 1 to make hats and put them on the ghosts.　I added a moon, some grass, and a sentiment.

ゴーストたちの頭が寒そうに見えたので、Day1の猫の耳のダイを使って帽子を作ってかぶせました。月や草、センチメントを貼りました。


　　


Using the Day 3 dies, I made a fun, spooky, and cute “Ghost House” card.

What's in store for Day 4? I'm really looking forward to it.


Day3 のダイを使って楽しくも不気味でかわいいお化けのハウスカードができました。
Day4は何かしら？とても楽しみです。
