Land on Earth for Halloween Party! Pop-Out Fun Fold Card.

 Hello Crafty Friends!

Today, Using Spellbinders’ “Classic Mouse Costume Party I Want It All Bundle” I made a card featuring Aliens who has landed on Earth in a UFO and is on his way to a Halloween party.

This card is a page from *Classic Mouse Halloween Pop-up Book*.

SpellbindersのClassic Mouse Costume Party I Want It All Bundle を使って、UFOに乗って地球にやってきて、Halloween パーティーへ向かう宇宙人をモチーフにしたカードを作りました。

こちらのカードは、Classic Mouse Halloween Pop up Book のPageの一つです。

Classic Mouse Trick-Or Treat Accessories Etched Dies　and

I used the “Skeleton Costume Die” from last year's Craftoween Box  Day 6 because it was a perfect fit.

昨年のCraftoween Day6 のSkelton のCostume Dieがぴったりだったので使いました。

I die-cut the ghost from the “Classic Mouse Trick-Or Treat Accessories Etched Dies” set in green.

This ghost is from Craftoween Day 8.

宇宙人も Classic Mouse Trick-Or Treat Accessories Etched Dies のお化けを緑でダイカットしました。

こちらのお化けは、Craftoween Day8からです。

I made the UFO by combining Classic Mouse Costume Party Etched Dies the Witch's Hat, the giant cauldron from Craftoween Box Day12, and the die from Make A Wish Arch Labels .

UFOは、Classic Mouse Costume Party Etched Dies魔女の帽子とCraftoween Box Day12 の巨釜、そしてMake A Wish Arch Labelsのダイを組み合わせて作りました。

I colored the background using a Distress Ink brush while applying masking.

背景は、マスキングを使いながらDistress  Inkブラシを使って着色しました。

I created the night sky by sprinkling water and spattering All Purpose Ink White.

水を振りかけたり、All Purpose ink white をスパッタリングして夜空を作りました。

For the mechanism, I attached V-shaped folds to the top and bottom bases at a 160-degree angle.

仕掛けは、Ｖ字Foldを160度の角度で上下のベースに貼りました。

“Let’s Party” was created using the Classic Mouse Alphabet Etched Dies.

Let’s Party は、Classic Mouse Alphabet Etched Dies を使いました。

Install them so that the Classic Mouse and UFO pop out when the V-fold opens.

Classic Mouse とUFOをV Foldが開いたときに立ち上がるように貼ります。

I finished it by sprinkling ☆ from the “Classic Mouse Trick-Or Treat Accessories Etched Dies” set all over it.

Classic Mouse Trick-Or Treat Accessories Etched Dies　の☆をちりばめて完成です。

A Witch flying Pop-up Card using Classic Mouse Costume Party Dies!

 I used the Classic Mouse Costume Party Etched Dies  to make a pop-up card featuring a flying witch. The mechanism of the swing looks just as if a witch were about to take flight.

This card is one of the pages from Classic Mouse Halloween Pop-Up Book.

  Classic Mouse Costume Party Etched Die を使って魔女が飛んでいるPop Up Cardを作りました。ブランコの仕掛けが、まるで魔女が飛び立とうとしているかのようです。

このカードはClassic Mouse Halloween Pop-Up Book のページの一つです。

This is the witch from the Halloween characters I made using the Classic Mouse Costume Party Etched Dies   I shared in a recent post. She’s perched on a broomstick with a black cat sitting on her shoulder. The black cat die was included in Day 4 of last year’s Craftoween Box 13 Days.

When you open this card, a witch flies out toward the moon, and at the same time, a bat takes flight—making it a mysterious card that’s both surprising and adorable.

先日 のPostでシェアした Classic Mouse Costume Party Etched Dies で作ったHalloweenのキャラクターたちの中の魔女です。ほうきにまたがり、肩には黒猫をのせています。黒猫のダイは、昨年のCraftoween Box 13 Days のDay 4 に含まれていたダイです。

カードを開いたときに、魔女が月に向かって飛びだし、同時にこうもりも飛び上がるので驚きとかわいらしさのある不思議なカードです。

Step by Step

1）First, create the swing mechanism. On a piece of cardstock measuring 1 inch wide by 3Make a crease to shape it like a champagne glass, then attach the panel to that crease..5 inches long, score fold lines at 0.5 inches, 2 inches, 0.5 inches, and 0.5 inches.

仕掛けのSwingをはじめにつくります。サイズは幅1インチ×３.５インチのカードストックに0.5インチ、２インチ、0.5インチ、0.5インチに折り線を入れます。シャンパングラスになるように、折り目をいれ、そこにパネルを貼ります。

2）I created the background using Distress Ink and a moon stencil. I’ll color the pop-up elements so they blend in with the background.

背景は、Distress Ink と月のStencil を使って作りました。仕掛けも背景となじむように着色します。

I added a spiderweb stamp to the lower-right corner.

右下コーナーにうもの巣のスタンプを加えました。

3）Attach a transparent sheet to the panel from underneath the mechanism. When you open the card, the panel lifts up, making the transparent sheet appear to be swinging.

仕掛けの下からパネルに透明シートを貼ります。カードを開いたときに、パネルが上にあがり、透明シートがSwing しているように見えます。

Punch a 1-centimeter hole in the transparent sheet, then thread the adhesive foam—which is attached to the cardstock—through the hole.

透明シートに１センチの穴をあけ、カードストックに貼ったポップアップ粘着フォームをその穴から通します。

穴の下にも粘着フォームを貼り、魔女の要素を貼ります。

4）I attached the mechanism to the top and added bats, twig dies, and stamped sentiments from the Halloween wreath Add-ons Etched Dies .

仕掛けを上に貼り、Halloween wreath Add-ons Etched Dies の中からこうもりや小枝、スタンプしたセンチメントを貼りました。

Merry Mugs & Kisses Slimline Card

 Hello Crafty Friends！

Using the Mugs ＆Kisses  die set, I made a fun card featuring Marshmallow Men (Snow Men?) jumping on top of a mug.

Mugs ＆Kisses のダイを使って、マシュマロメン（Snow Men?) たちがマグカップの上でジャンプする楽しいカードを作りました。

If you use this die set, you’re sure to create cards that bring you peace of mind and make you smile without even realizing it.

このダイセットを使ったなら、きっと心が安らぎ、思わず笑顔になるようなカードが出来上がるはずです。

 I tried out various designs, including ones with cream-colored hats and skirts and ones with reindeer antlers. Every time I gently shake them, they change their poses, and I can’t help but smile.

　

クリームのハットやスカートの子や、トナカイの角を被った子など、モチーフもいろいろ変えてみました。ゆらゆら揺らすたびにポーズが変化して思わず笑顔になります。

It's easy to make.

Once you've made the marshmallow man motifs, turn them over, arrange them in a single row, and attach them with thread (the kind of clear thread used for beadwork).

作り方は簡単です。

マシュマロマンのモチーフを作ったら、裏にして並べて、テグス（ビーズなどに使う透明な糸）を貼りつなぎ合わせます。

Punch small holes on both sides of the card, thread a string through them, and tie it securely on the back.

カードの両側に小さな穴をあけて、糸を通して裏でしっかりと留めます。

Adjust the positions of the cups and marshmallow men so that a cup is placed under each one.

それぞれの下にカップが来るように、カップとマシュマロマンの位置を調整します。

The thread holes will be hidden when you decorate with the stars from  Mugs ＆Kisses .

Just trim off the excess and glue it to the card base, and you're done.

糸の穴は、 Mugs ＆Kisses  の星でデコレーションするときに隠します。

はみ出している部分をカットして、カードベースに貼れば完成です。
