The “Halloween 13 Days of Crafty Treats Box” is a sweet and spooky Advent box that lets you open one surprise each day leading up to Halloween and enjoy crafting. It’s fun to feel that excitement and anticipation, wondering, “I wonder what’s inside next?”
I could see three ghosts, but when I pulled the tab, there were five!

Mechanism Step by step
1) Cut the patterned paper to the size shown in the photo to make the craft.
写真のようなサイズで、パターンペーパーをカットし、仕掛けを作ります。
2）Cut an arch out of the same patterned paper using the second die from the “Make A Wish Arch Labels” set, fold the bottom edge back 1 inch, apply glue to the designated area, and attach it there.
3）You can use the strip as is, but since I wanted to change the position and orientation of the ghost,
I cut it and reapplied it.

4）Place the “House” piece, check the positions of the moon and the ghost, and then stick it in place.
House を置いてみて、月やゴーストの位置を確認して貼ります。
5）Cut the green patterned paper so that only the bottom portion is cut out using the largest “Make A Wish Arch Labels” arch die; for the top portion, use the Day 3 die to cut partway through.
Make two slits in the center, each 0.5 inches wide and 1 inch long.
緑のパターンペーパーを、一番大きい Make A Wish Arch Labelsのアーチ型ダイを使って、下部のみを切り抜くようにカットします。上部については、3日目のダイを使って、途中まで切り込みを入れます。
中央に、幅0.5インチ、長さ1インチのスリットを2つ作ります。
6）Attach it to the 1-inch section of the base arch, but leave the slit you made earlier unglue and let it remain raised.
ベースのアーチの１インチ部分に貼りつけますが、先ほどのスリットにはのりをつけずに浮かせておきます。
7）Prepare a strip of paper 0.5 inches wide, fold one end 0.5 inches inward, and attach it to the base; then attach the remaining portion to the back of the patterned paper with the slit.
8）Use the largest die from the Make A Wish Arch Labels set to die-cut the black cardstock base, then use a craft knife to cut a slot for the pull tab, and attach it to the base.
9）The ghosts' heads looked like they were cold, so I used the cat-ear die from Day 1 to make hats and put them on the ghosts. I added a moon, some grass, and a sentiment.
Using the Day 3 dies, I made a fun, spooky, and cute “Ghost House” card.
What's in store for Day 4? I'm really looking forward to it.

Heroween Day2
Today, I’m sharing a card I made using Sentiments stamps and dies from Heroween Day2 . I used some of these Sentiments on the Day 1 card as well, but today’s card focuses on the Sentiments.
The Magic Flashlight Card is a magical card where a die-cut ghost serves as a flashlight; when you insert it into the pitch-black card, the sentiments is illuminated only in that area.
2）I take a transparent sheet (I use OHP sheets) and dab Staz On PIGMENT Piano Black ink directly onto it to make it completely black.
透明シート（OHPシートを使ってます）をStaz On PIGMENT のPiano Black インクを直接タップして真っ黒にします。
3）Immediately stamp the “Day 2” stamp on top using VersaFine Clair Arctic ink, and let it dry. Any oil-based ink other than Staz On is fine.
すぐにDay2 のスタンプをVersa Fine Clair Arcticでその上にスタンプし、そのまま乾くまで待ちます。Staz On以外の油性のインクであればどのインクでも構いません。
4）Ink resist
Even though Staz On dries, Versa Fine Clair (oil-based ink) does not dry on transparent sheets, so use thin paper ( copy paper, etc ) to blot up the ink. It’s best not to use paper towels or tissues, as fibers from them will stick to the Staz On.
Repeat this several times until the ink no longer transfers to the paper.
Staz Onは乾いていても、Versa Fine Clair （油性インク）は透明シートの上では乾かないので、そのインクを薄い紙(コピー用紙など）に吸い取ります。キッチンペーパーやティッシュペーパーはStaz Onに繊維が貼りつくので使わないほうが良いです。
紙にインクが付かなくなるまで何度かそれを繰り返します。
5）Finally, use a microfiber cloth to remove the ink by wiping upward.
Be careful not to rub too hard. If the cloth gets ink on it, replace it with a clean section and repeat the process.
最後にマイクロファイバーを使って、上に持ち上げるようにインクを取り除きます。
強くこすらないように注意しましょう。インクが付いたらきれいな箇所に換えて同じ作業を繰り返します。
6）Using the large die and the next-sized die from the “Make A Wish Arch Labels” set, cut out two bases with transparent sheets serving as windows. Cut out another piece from black cardstock using the large die, and attach it to connect the base and the sides of the arched window. Create a fold card as shown below.
Next, cut out pieces from black and white cardstock using the slightly smaller arch die, connect them, and attach them on base.
Make A Wish Arch Labelsの大きいダイとその次のダイを使って、透明シートを窓にするベースを２枚つくります。もう一枚おおきなダイで黒のカードストックを抜き、アーチ窓のベースとサイドをつなぎます。下のようなFold Cardをつくります。
次に黒と白のカードストックを少し小さめのアーチのダイで抜き、つなげてその上に貼ります。
7) We'll attach a clear sheet to the arched window.
アーチの窓に透明シートを貼ります。
8）Later, I also registered a few spider stamps.
後から蜘蛛もいくつかレジストしました。
9) I decided to use the ghost cutouts from Day 1 as flashlights.
If you place black cardstock under the transparent sheet, the white sentiment turns black and becomes invisible, so when you move the white ghost from underneath, only the sentiment in that area becomes visible.
What did you think of the Magic Flashlight Card? I think this technique is perfect for Halloween. You can also color the white cut-out areas from the back using StazOn or Copic markers.

Cut two pieces from the largest arch die and glue the top 0.5 inches together. Do not crease the cover; instead, crease the inside base so that it opens.
Use the second-largest arch-shaped die to cut out the green patterned paper and attach it to the cover.
Use the Ghost Die from Day 1 to die-cut the center of the cover.
2）Using the Day 2 Sentiments stamp, stamp the design onto black cardstock with Versa Mark ink, sprinkle white embossing powder over it, and melt it. Cut out “Sentiment Trick or Treat” using the die cut.
I'll make two black cats using cat Dies, from the Day1.
Stick the transparent sheet so that it crosses the ghost's window, attach black cat elements to both ends, and place the “Trick or Treat” sentiment on top.
Day2のセンチメンツスタンプを使って、黒のカードストックにバーサマークでスタンプしホワイトのエンボスパウダーを振りかけて溶かしておきます。センチメント Trick or Treat をトリミングダイでダイカットします。
Day1の中から、黒猫のダイを使って２つ作ります。
透明なシートをお化けの窓を横切るように貼り、両端に黒猫の要素を貼って、その上にセンチメンツ Trick or Treat を貼ります。
3）Cut a 1-inch by 5-inch piece of black paper.
Fold it to 1.5 inches and stick it to the back of the cover, above the ghost's head in the window.
黒のカードストックで、1インチ×5インチのstripをつくります。
それを1.5インチで折り、カバーの裏側、お化けの窓の頭の辺りに貼ります。
4）Prepare a 3-inch by 4-inch piece of black cardstock and attach it below the 1.5-inch fold on the strip. Secure both sides with black masking tape or thin paper.
5）Apply glue to the black cardstock below the crease of the strip visible through the ghost window when the cover is closed, then insert the ghost element inside and attach it. The cat's ears will stick out from the cover.
6）Fill in the lower half of the diamond-patterned paper with “Brilliance Moon Light White.”

7）Using the clear stamps from the Heroween Box, stamp “BOO!” with Varsa Fine Clair Nocturne ink, then sprinkle clear embossing powder over it and melt it.
Boxの中のクリアスタンプを使って、BOO！をVarsa Fine Clairのノクターンでスタンプしクリアエンボスパウダーを振りかけて溶かします。
8）Use the transparent sheet to form a loop by wrapping it around the paper.
透明なシートでその紙を巻き付けるように輪ループをつくります。
9）Thread the loop through the diamond-patterned paper. Turn the paper over so that the bottom is secured with masking tape or self-adhesive paper, and fold the top edge inward to attach it to the base.
