Kitty the witch and a little frog are riding a broomstick, sprinkling magic star dust into a cauldron from above. When the frog chants a spell, lots of bubbles start bubbling up from the cauldron. I turned this fun scene into a card.
This mechanism works by attaching and securing a rotating shaft (rivet) to the arm; when the pull tab is moved in a straight line, the elements move in an arc.
A strip for a pull tab and a 1-cm-wide arm made of two layers of paper; a 1.5-cm circle

Use a pen to mark the width of the arm on the pull tab, then make two cuts that are that width. Cut the circle in half and attach it to the end of the arm.
プルタブにアームの幅で印をペンでつけて、その幅の2本の切り込みを入れます。
円は半分にカットしてアームの端に貼ります。
Make two rings (bands) to move the pull tabs in parallel.
プルタブを平行に動かすためのリング（バンド）を2つ作ります。
Drill a hole in the arm for the rivet (rotation axis).
リベット（回転軸）のための穴をアームに開けます。
Since the holes are small, I’ll share a different method from the usual riveting technique.
Make two strips that are wide enough to fit through the holes.
小さい穴なので、いつものリベットとは違うものをシェアします。
穴に通る幅の2本のstripを作ります。
Thread them through the holes and bend them.
それらを穴に通し手から、折り曲げます。
Apply glue to them, and stick a 1.5-cm circle on top.
それらに糊をつけ、その上に1.5cmの円を貼ります。
Stick a circle on the back as well.
裏からも円を貼ります。
Apply adhesive to the circular part and the band, then attach the mechanism to the base.

Drill a small hole in the arm, insert a pen into it, and move the mechanism to trace an arc.
アームに小さな穴をあけ、そこにペンをさし、メカニズムを動かし円弧を描きます
Cut along the arc you drew with a utility knife, then insert the arm.
描いた円弧のラインをカッターでカットしまし、アームを差し込みます。
I colored the background using Distress Ink.
背景はDistress Inkを使って着色しました。
Attach the elements to the mechanism arm, stick on the other parts, stamp the letters.
エレメンツを仕掛けのアームに取り付け、そのほかの要素も貼って文字をスタンプして完成です。
I drew a stream of stars and bubbles, as if they were overflowing from a cauldron, after sprinkling some magical stardust.
魔法の星の粉を振りかけると、釜から泡が出るようにたくさんの星と泡を流れるように描きました。
